RM Re-Library is a reprint of two or three of the best volumes from the RM LIBRARY, which has a long history of over 260 issues.
The third volume of the new series focuses on the Choshi Electric Railway, which is still in operation, among many other local private railways. The book is a combined version of the two volumes published in 2011, and also includes four new pages of color graphs.
This book is a masterpiece that also won the 2012 Shima Hideo Memorial Outstanding Book Award in the hardcover category, selected by the Railway Friendship Association.

The Choshi Electric Railway has a total line length of just 6.4 km and 10 stations. However, it has a longer history than you might think, dating back to the opening of the Choshi Pleasure Railway in 1913. One of the highlights of this book is the detailed introduction to the pleasure railway period, which is the "prehistory" of the Choshi Electric Railway.
Choshi Railway, which has no direct connection to the sightseeing railway, resumed operations in 1923. This year marks 99 years since then (exactly 100 years since the company was founded!), and its small but ever-changing trains have been in operation for many years, making them popular subjects for model kits. This book contains many valuable photographs of the company's history, facilities, station guides, operation, and rolling stock.
The author's first-rate writing makes use of primary sources and is highly reliable, making this a definitive book.
