The RM Library introduces lines that no longer exist and vehicles that were once active, along with photos and materials from those days.

We plan to continue publishing this series on a regular basis, but on the other hand, we have received many requests for reprints and reprints of the more than 260 volumes of back issues, which are already sold out.

In addition to combining volumes that were separated into upper and lower volumes in the first edition, and volumes with common themes into one volume, we have also added updated information such as color graphs.

The first commemorative edition is the reprint version of RM LIBRARY 35 and 36, “Kiha 07 Monogatari.”
The Kiha 07 type is a streamlined diesel car that appeared as the Kiha 42000 type in the pre-war period, and was JNR's first type of large car that could run on its own. This book summarizes the turbulent period during and after the war, the conversion to DMH17, the renaming to Kiha 07 type, the conversion to mail baggage cars and business cars, and the transfer to local private railways. This is a famous vehicle that we hope will be remembered by fans as the foundation of the modern Japanese diesel car kingdom.

A very popular series of railway books that introduces lines that no longer exist and vehicles that were once in use, along with photos and materials from the time. Currently, we are continuing to publish one volume per month, and plan to publish 264 volumes in June. The 48 pages of B5 size are filled with photos from the time and interesting content.
