Starting with ``Japan National Railways 72/73 series trains written in photos and illustrations'' published in 2020, ``Japan National Railways 17m class trains written in photos and illustrations'' in 2021, and ``Pre-war type trains written in photos and illustrations'' published last fall. The final volume of Yoichi Miyashita's large-scale old model national electric appliances series, which continues with ``Kokuden (Part 1)'', will be published, ``Pre-war National Electric Railways with Photographs and Illustrations (Part 2)''.
This time, we will focus on cross-seat and semi-cross-seat vehicles, which were the most popular pre-war 20m national electric trains, and include beautiful formal photos and valuable color photos as model materials. In particular, on the Iida Line and Oito Line, where old national electric trains were active until the 1980s, cross-seat and semi-cross-seat cars descended from the Kansai Kyukyu Electric Railway were used, so we cover a wide range of types. In addition, at the end of the book, there is a table of changes and quick explanations of modified parts and model number changes as a material section, to follow the changes of individual vehicles that have undergone complex changes.
