******************

The Iida Line was known as a moving museum of old national trains, and although it was hidden in the shadow of the national trains, it was the final scene of another of the great old Japanese trains. It was an electric locomotive that transported freight trains, and for a long time, large electric locomotives with heavy axles were not allowed to enter the line, especially in the northern section of the Iida Line from Tenryukyo to Tatsuno.

In the first place, the Iida Line was established through the acquisition and merger of four private railway companies, and the former Ina Electric Railway, which was the first to construct the northern part, was founded as a track line. As a result, weak roadbeds remain in many places, and the only locomotives that meet these conditions are medium-sized electric locomotives that were imported at the dawn of electrified railways, and two types of imported locomotives remained active here until the mid-1970s. I was there. This book combines "006 Iida Line ED18" (released in January 2010) and "008 Iida Line ED19" (released in April 2010) from the "Railway Vehicle Detail File" into one book, with new color pages added. This is a re-edited version. This content has been edited to look back on the past appearance of all two types of aircraft, British and American, and to serve as materials for the production of the two types that will stimulate your desire to become a model.
